Under The Trasnport of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations, the main duties of a DGSA are as follows:

• Monitoring compliance with the requirements governing the carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.

• Advising on the carriage of Dangerous Goods

• Preparing an Annual Report to the management on the undertakings activities in the carriage of Dangerous Goods.

• Such Annual Reports must be preserved for 5 years & made available to the National Authorities at their request.
